بيروت تضيء من جديد: زيتونة باي تكشف عن أوّل شجرة تدور وتتحرك

بيروت، لبنان – 4 كانون الأول 2025 — افتتحت زيتونة باي موسم الأعياد باحتفال استثنائي حمل عنوان «Joy in every Turn»، حيث أزاحت الستار عن أوّل شجرة دوّارة في لبنان؛ مجسّم فني بارتفاع عشرة أمتار يجمع بين الضوء والحركة والنغم في لوحة واحدة نابضة بالحياة.

وبرعاية السيّدة لورا لحّود، وزيرة السياحة، يشكّل هذا العام محطة مهمّة في مسيرة زيتونة باي، مع رفع شجرتها الاحتفالية في قلب المرسى، وتحويل الواجهة البحريّة البيروتيّة إلى وجهة تنبض بالأمل والفرح.

تقف الشجرة شامخةً على حافة البحر، راسمةً حكاية من الحركة والدلالة. فقد صُمّمت بأوراق مستوحاة من شجرة الزيتون، الرمز اللبناني العريق للسلام، وتدور بانسياب على مدار الساعة. في النهار تعكس أشعّة الشمس، وفي الليل تتوهّج بنورها الداخلي، فيما ينبعث من قلبها صندوق موسيقي ينساب منه لحن دافئ يتردّد فوق الموج ومع خطوات الزائرين.

وخلال الأمسية، استمتع الضيوف بحفل استقبال خاص، وعرض موسيقي قدّمته فرقة LE BAM، إضافةً إلى عروض احتفالية مرِحة، مع مشاركة مؤثّرة من قرية SOS للأطفال.

وفي كلمةٍ له خلال المناسبة، توجّه السيد محمد الصفدي، رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة شريكة بإنماء واجهة بيروت البحرية، برسالة وجدانية توقّف فيها عند المعاني الإنسانية لهذه المرحلة قائلاً: «المحبّة، والتسامح، والسلام… تلك هي الرسالة التي يحملها هذا الموسم إلى العالم. نردّدها كثيرًا، ونؤمن بها نظريًا، لكننا نعجز عن عيشها كما يجب. لذلك بقي وطننا منقسمًا، وبقي مستقبله مؤجّلًا. آن الأوان أن نُحبّ لبنان كما يليق به.»

يمتدّ العرض طيلة شهر كانون الأول (ديسمبر)،  مع برنامج يومي من الفقرات الموسيقية والاحتفالية، ليظلّ المرسى نابضًا بالحيوية والبهجة طوال فترة الأعياد.

إنّ هذا العمل المميّز يرسّخ دور زيتونة باي كوجهة للاحتفال وجمع الناس، حيث تصبح كل دورة من الضوء والموسيقى رمزًا لفرحٍ مشترك وأملٍ متجدّد.

Joy with Every Turn: Zaitunay Bay Unveiled Lebanon’s First Rotating Tree

Beirut, Lebanon – December 4, 2025 — Zaitunay Bay welcomed the season with a groundbreaking celebration titled “Joy with Every Turn”, unveiling Lebanon’s first-ever rotating tree, a spectacular 10-meter installation that brings light, motion, and music together in perfect harmony.

Under the patronage of Mrs. Laura Lahoud, Minister of Tourism, this year marks a milestone for Zaitunay Bay, hosting its festive tree at the heart of the marina, transforming Beirut’s beloved waterfront into a vibrant destination of joy, light, and community.

Standing proudly by the sea, the tree tells a story of movement and meaning. Crafted with leaves inspired by the olive tree, a timeless Lebanese symbol of peace, it turns gracefully day and night. By day, it catches and reflects the Mediterranean sun; by night, it glows with its own inner light. Hidden within its core, a music box plays a soft melody, breathing life into a celebration that truly captures the spirit of Joy in Every Turn.

During the event, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, a special musical performance by LE BAM, festive parades, and a heartwarming appearance by SOS Children’s Village.

Speaking on the occasion, H.E. Mr. Mohamad Safadi, Chairman of Beirut Waterfront Development, shared a heartfelt message reflecting on the meaning of the season:

“Love, forgiveness and peace is Christmas’s eternal message to humanity. We all believe in these values, yet fail to live by them; that’s why we struggle to unite and build the future of our country. Be loved, Lebanon.”

Extending beyond the evening’s unveiling, Joy with Every Turn will continue throughout the month of December. Visitors can enjoy musical performances, festive parades, and an atmosphere filled with light, laughter, and celebration along Beirut’s iconic waterfront.
